Create and organize your products with categories, brands, variations, and bulk import tools.
All product management is under the Products menu in the sidebar:
| Type | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Single | A product with no variations. One SKU, one price. | A bottle of water, a notebook |
| Variable | A product with variations (size, color, etc.). Each variation has its own SKU and price. | T-shirt in S/M/L/XL |
| Combo | A bundle of existing products sold as one item. | Gift basket containing 3 products |
Categories support a two-level hierarchy: parent categories and sub-categories.
Note: Categories must be enabled in your business settings (Settings > Business Settings > enable_category) to appear in product forms and POS filters.
Organize products by manufacturer or brand. Go to Products > Brands to manage.
Define measurement units. Go to Products > Units. Supports sub-units (e.g., 1 dozen = 12 pieces).
Variations let you define attributes like Size, Color, or Material. Each combination gets its own SKU and price.
Define multiple price lists for different scenarios (wholesale, retail, export). Each product can have a different price in each group.
Tip: Selling Price Groups work hand-in-hand with Customer Groups. Assign a price group to a customer group, and those customers automatically see the right prices.
Important: Categories, brands, and units referenced in the CSV must already exist in the system before importing.
When adding a product, you can set its initial stock quantity and purchase price. This creates the baseline inventory for each location.
Enable "Manage Stock" on the product form to track inventory. Without this, the product is treated as a service with unlimited availability.
Define warranty policies and assign them to products. Warranties are printed on invoices and tracked for after-sales support.
